I would say that the MAVO Board lacks leadership and is unable to think outside of the box. That in itself is reason enough to replace all of the members of that board. Hopefully, things are now improving at the St. Louis Veterans Home.
What I found almost as interesting was the article about the painting made of Frank Clark (middle) and his brothers Charles (left) and Harvey (right). It's a great painting of the three brothers. His brothers were KIA in WWII and it's a shame that some museum would not want the painting.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel Wow! It is sad to see a veterans organization that is so politicized.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel committed leadership in my organization over the years before they aged into a relaxing retirement battled this very manner of disrespect towards our aged veterans. They also identified that the new era veterans we're not attracted to the old school veteran organizations because they saw politics, money, and classism move in.
