LTC (Join to see), I agree. Outstanding that they are giving the A-10 new wings. Keeping them into the 2030s is the best news we can get. Somewhere an F-35 SPO is gnashing his/her teeth over this one!
Long live the A-10!

LTC (Join to see) - Direct from then General's mouth. Although the F-15/16 as well as the F-18 platforms are still supporting the CAS missions. The A-10 still does it better, unless it's dropping laser/GPS guided ordnance on targets. The other platforms can carry more tonnage and don't need to be danger close to put warheads on foreheads.
The A-10 can and will continue to be the CAS king into the 2030s now with new wings!
