Is anyone prepared to argue with the author of this article? Is anyone surprised that Freedom of Speech is under assault on campuses, especially when they see it assaulted daily, hourly, minute-by-minute on the Internet? Does anyone doubt that Freedom of Speech is under assault when we see those in control of social media censoring debate?

Thanks CPT Jack Durish ! An outstanding article. The last lines say it all: "The American way is to conduct free and open debate in a civil manner. We should return to doing that on our college campuses and in our society at large."
