Try to live this mantra everyday. Never know when your last breath will come- so make the most of the time you have and make the world a better place. I have also always lived by the call your mom everyday rule. There will be a day when no one answers, but in the meantime I have held true to this in the 34 years I have been gone from her home.

Maj Marty Hogan I followed the call your Mom rule religiously and now she is living with Bella and I in the new home here in Castle Rock, CO. After my Dad passed away in October 2016 and my Mom was on her own for over a year, I decided it was time to take care of here the way she took care of me for the first 17 years of my life. She has her own Master Bedroom suite, master bathroom, and master walking closet on the first floor and a sepcial craft room. My mother took care of her mother (my grandma), and my Grandma took care of her mother (my Great Grandmother), so it runs in the family. I hope my Girls take care of Bella when I'm gone. You have an awesome day Marty and family!

You are very right Capt. Hogan. One day she will not be there to answer. Your rule is a very good one. thank you for the mention.

COL I have no idea how many times I have found myself in some really bad places but before I could feel sorry for myself I had to laugh. Great medicine

Good Morning COL. We have a plaque in our kitchen as some of you probably do as well:
"Live Well, Love Much, Laugh Often" and the snoring one I can tell you is fact! Have a great Sunday.
