Thanks for making us aware that then Sgt. Frank Praytor has passed away Sgt Randy Wilber. The image of him feeding kitten ‘Mis Hap’ helped to humanize the war for the public.

Background: 1st Marine Division Sgt. Frank Praytor adopted a kitten after another marine shot its mother to death for “yeowling” Praytor would use canned milk and a medicine dropper to feed the kitten, whom he named Miss Hap because, "she was born at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Rest in eternal peace Frank Praytor.
