Thanks Maj Marty Hogan for letting us know that January 21 is the anniversary of the birth of American singer and character actor Aristotelis "Telly" Savalas whose career spanned four decades of television. He was noted for his deep, gravelly voice and his bald head.
I remember him most from the television crime drama Kojak (1973–1978),
