Pentagon Says Military-Civilian Divide Could Endanger All-Volunteer Force

Entitled, we've screwed them. We've dumped more debt on them than imaginable. We don't pay enough toward that debt to pay the interest. Enormous debt when they start out and downhill from there. We hare headed for the third world. That is what the ""entitled generation"" will get

Entitled generation....Nope. They will not go due to what they’ve seen, heard and has been recounted over the many years of war we’ve been in. The stories they heard, seen and had a brother/sister or cousin recount is that your a number, and a tool to be used to fight for battles that don’t truly matter to your family, loved ones and no one can give you a straight answer on why your even there. Add to that the bad decisions of our leaders to continually screw the “All Volunteer Force” quickly, efficiently and without mercy over pay, employment (60-150k troops cut after the ramp down in Afghanistan to save money yet pay contractors 2x-3x Officer pay for less work and they live on our bases). Pilots/Officers are offered bonuses akin to Fortune 500 executives and the Enlisted get nothing of the sort, told to do more and follow orders. Plus the healthcare cuts and even worse cutting the retirement benefits from those earning a retirement at 20 years. Plus horrible PT standards, PT not fitting the function or reflecting their actual duties. Add to that the effects of Veteran affairs....people die waiting for help and then they give raises or promote people who clearly have aided or made the problems these retired veterans suffer without discourse plus the Veteran ends up homeless.....You can’t make this evil up.
Add another healthy dose of identity politics, green dot training and the total destruction of the Warrior mindset in the American Military (we have so many stories on Military Moms/Wives/Chiefs/Generals talking about balancing life. Instead of picture of showing them heros, people who are young achieving feats of incredible strength of will = you have an overwhelming picture of a life Many will not want due to the very public, well documented and vocally verified abuse of a Great American institution.
