Thank you Maj Marty Hogan for letting us know that January 18 is the anniversary of the birth of English-American actor Cary Grant who was born under the name Archibald Alec Leach and became known as one of classic Hollywood's definitive leading men.
It certainly is noteworthy that in 1999, the American Film Institute named Cary Grant the second greatest male star of Golden Age Hollywood cinema, after Humphrey Bogart.

I always liked him. Very classy guy. They don't make 'em like that anymore. There doesn't seem to be any current male actors in his league. Its too bad, I wish there was.
