Ohh Neptune's beard, I HATEED that show. I had to Air it at the PBS Station I interned at during College, followed by Barney and Friends. Ughhhh ((shudder)) its like a bad flash back....

On the Bright side I always got to see DR, Who before it became mainstream lol. I would just go down to the tape Library and pull a reel off the shelf and set it up on another player and then watch on the side after I set up my roll over tape, and next show.

Thanks Maj Marty Hogan for letting us know that January 17 is the anniversary of the birth of American ventriloquist, puppeteer, and children's entertainer and television show host Shari Lewis born under the name Sonia Phyllis Hurwitz.
I grew up with Kukla, Fran [Allison] and Ollie which also was an early American television show using puppets.
Rest in peace Sonia Phyllis Hurwitz!
