I have been listening to the Lovin Spoonful this afternoon and came across this historical development video Lovin Spoonful - A Lovin' Look Back with John Sebastian which I could not post on this network.
Here is Summer in the City - hoping for warmer weather in the dead of winter :-)
A chance meeting in Greenwich Village of Cass Elliott and John Sebastian in the early 1960s.
Over the next year the Mama's and Papas and the Loving Spoonful were born.
I was a child in those days and learned to appreciate the Loving Spoonful and the Mama's and Papas for that matter.
