50 Years Later, It Feels Familiar: How America Fractured in 1968

Will it feel familiar 50 years from now? I believe it will. Through all of our trials and tribulations, I thank God every day I am fortunate enough to live in this country. I judge America not by what I see and hear on the news or on my cell phone, but what I see and hear from the people I interact with on a daily basis. What I see are good people, people that treat each other with respect and dignity. It is a good starting point. Thanks for the link.

I was in Germany when that year started, and Viet Nam when it ended, with a 4 month stop-off at Ft McPherson, GA.
Lots of turmoil, but I never once thought our nation would collapse because of that turmoil. I am not so sure today.
