Israeli army declares Nabi Saleh, home to Tamimi family, closed military zone

Thanks for sharing PO1 William "Chip" Nagel. in the mid-1990's I worked on a USAF FMS contract supporting the IAF. Israel is a tiny country surrounded by many Muslim zealots who would kill an Israeli just because they are Jewish.Over the decades Israel has learned that you can't negotiate with terrorists and it is not wise to ignore any violence against soldiers. It may seem excessive to those of us in this nation.
I live a couple blocks away from an MS-13 gang which has killed in the past. I have much sympathy for what Israelis face on a day to day basis.

The caption of this story about "laying siege to her town" being excessive tells us a lot about the problem of keeping drama from getting in the way of the truth. The IAF did not cordon off her town because she slapped and kicked an IAF soldier, she was detained (not imprisoned) for that.
The town was surrounded so as to keep demonstrations from escalating; a common crowd control technique.
The fact remains that the Palestinians are squatters on Israeli soil (God gave it to Abraham and Issac - Genesis 35:12) and we have been complicit in seeing to it that the Palestinians have somehow earned legitimacy and are deserving of land that rightfully belongs to Israel.
The land called ‘Palestine’ did not exist when God made a covenant with Abraham and Abraham’s descendants, the Jews, and it does not exist today. The land is called Canaan, now called Israel. Abraham is the first to be called Hebrew, it is noted in Genesis 14:13. There is no such thing as a land of Palestine.
Imagine what would happen if Israel suddenly woke up and recognized the fact that they are living on a very small piece of what was actually given them in the Abrahamic covenant.

This malcontent will likely end up dead before she is 30 attaining martyr status.
