I see both sides on the coin here! There’s a time and a place! As a General you’re a politician. Pretty much all high ranking individuals are politicians! I would have caution with my words as a politician especially in a congressional setting! But being a southern gentleman i know how harmless the term is! It’s really not that big of a deal! Do I think the actions taken were warranted? Nope! It’s not that big of a deal! A simple counseling session would’ve been fine! This why I feel civilians shouldn’t have so much power when it comes to the military. But hey!
