While I used to think of Rowden as a friend ( we went to nuke school together), I've not been fond of his tenure as Surface Boss. I think his blind faith in the LCS got him distracted from real Navy ships with real Navy problems. I know many won't agree with me, but that's fine. I get to say what I think at this stage in my life, and it's very liberating.
LT Brad McInnis
I worked on building LCS mission mods and training pipelines (on a staff with no plans to get LCS, having never been on one). Totally with you on the LCS problems, and they are all of our own making. The idea, even back then among the DH's) was WTH?!?!?! Why are we going to make 2 different hulls, with different capabilities and put them in the same class. Don't even get me started on the idea of plugging a new module in to go fight a certain war (I am sure the enemy will wait)...

Yup, and firing COs and CHENGs for ruptured pipes when that is a class wide design flaw... But LCDR (Join to see) disagrees with us...
LCDR (Join to see)
LCDR Rabbah Rona Matlow - me and the good ADM "I think ‘18 is going to be a great year for the surface force and a particularly good year for the littoral combat ships."
