Where there's a will, California will tax it then find a way to hide it. Look, we have a helluva lot of welfare leeches, illegal aliens, and criminals to protect in the "Golden State". What do you expect? Oh, and I'm glad to share this with all those who might have been tempted to escape the bitter cold of Climate Warming after seeing the sunny skies over the Tournament of Roses Parade on New Years Day...

No state income tax here in TX. TX has so much oil they tax every barrel pumped at about 4 1/2% of the mark.et value of the oil and use the money to fund the state budget. Local gvts eat us up in property taxes and by establishing numerous special taxing authorities, such as fire dept districts; hospital districts; water districts, etc.
