1stSgt Nelson Kerr - That is possible if the war stays extremely contained and the only Nuclear weapons used are North Korean... however if they successfully deploy 20% of their inventory, that's a dozen mushroom clouds. If we retaliate in kind and hit them with a dozen Nukes... it will get very ugly, very fast. Even a mini Nuclear Winter could drop global food production by 20%, and cause hundreds of millions to starve. Skyrocketing food prices would likely result in an economic collapse as most Americans were forced to burn through their investments to survive. Real Estate values for everything except farmland would likely plummet.
