It sure is. Again, the point being made is how much of the media ran with this as a legitimate accusation and news story. Whoops... #FakeNews.

Only if we read blackandblondemedia and some of the others who made a big deal over it. The story was ridiculous and also a hoax.

Actually, The Hill, Newsweek, AOL, the UK Mirror, UK Daily Mail, Business Insider, Inside Edition, The Wrap, and many others "made a big deal over it" but it was mainly us... :P

SN (Join to see) - I know BI reported it a hoax, didn't check the others because just the initial story was a little "out there" to me. Goes to show how so many jump on inflammatory news and run with it, doesn't it? I blame it on the 24 hour news cycle, so many pubs, and the desire to be the "first with the most." But this one just didn't make sense (especially since the kid was Jewish).

SN (Join to see) - Agree. Except there is a lot of shouting "fake news" that isn't fake at all. But it seems to work. This one didn't.

the article states that this "sign" only works when used with the right hand, but in both pics of actual/alleged racists motivation (some nut in a costume and a cartoon frog) they are both using their left hand...
