I have long wondered the effects of putting so much medication in people, but be careful where you admit that as the pro-vaccination crowd is very alert and loud... It's what we blame Gulf War Syndrome on, so I have wondered about this long before it was "cool".
It's important to remember too that correlation does not equal causation; there are way too many factors that could influence the findings the article mentions but it's interesting nonetheless.

This isn't the first time I've gone against the grain on RP. Hopefully, those who cry the hardest bring reputable data to back their stances. Then an informed conversation continues and I win either way. The goal is the discussion.

SGT (Join to see) - I'm really torn on this topic. I recognize that some/many vaccinations are life saving and therefore wonderful. I do believe that all of the medicine injected into a body may not be good for us and therefore not wonderful.
I don't claim to know where that line is but I don't get the flu shot until I'm ordered to and my family doesn't take it either.

I am a little concerned that we seem to be going toward a tendency not to let people read studies and science, and decide for themselves. I don't know how I feel about this--I know some vaccines have eradicated diseases that were once a real problem. But we also used to give antibiotics when we thought it a good idea, and now we know it can do more harm than good.

legitimate issue here with open-access publishing. this type of publishing adds new and additional bias into the peer review process.
