This guy is great. I love his perspective. I and many folks my age actually play video games. There is a group of us that get together for social interaction only. But its for relaxation and to get away from the real world. It has nothing to do with reality and doesn't make me a better person by playing. It sure as hell doesn't make me a better Airman or leader.

But what the hell, I know old guys like me that play a lot of golf too. Video games are for guys that suck at golf.

Your correct I play too but some people just let it get to their heads and take it too far.

I worked on JSOFT-A Afghanistan 2012-2013 went all over the SOTF and stayed on all SOF camps Fire Bases and VSP's, some had small game room and when the SOF guy's came into play with other people they sucked, nothing like the real thing.

It makes me laugh when someone who believes he/she can kill someone because he/she is proficient in doing such on every FPS out there. That's when I challenge them to a paintball skirmish and own them in the field. Pulling the trigger of any type of weapon is so much different than the "trigger" or button on any game controller. Any one of us "out of practice" Soldiers/Sailors/Marines/Airmen (yes, them too! lol) would own these chairborne rangers with little effort!
