LTC (Join to see), but for the fact that he's from Chicago, it seems almost impossible that he's an elected official. I'm glad his jurisdiction ends at the Cook County (IL) line!

LTC Stephen C. When I see some of this, I have to ask, WHAT are you thinking? Really, bring in the UN. Then again, maybe we have declined to third world status along with the lowering of the credit rating.

Looks like the Cook County Commissioner does not want the State or Feds to look at their books.
Stupid part is he would have to get the State and Federal Government approval to allow UN Peace Keepers to operate there.
Also, he may want to take a look at the abuses and rapes from third world peacekeepers.
And no, I did not make that one up:

Political stunt. UN Peacekeepers will not deploy to Chicago...way is too dangerous.
