So my 2.4% pay raise will go towards paying increased TriCare fees? Doesn’t sound like a pay raise to me. I bet the bill works out to be a pay cut.
Hopefully this money trickles down to the base and unit level. But I am not holding my breath.

SMSgt Thor Merich I took note of the TriCare fee increase as well, and was not happy about that either, and I also noted nothing was said in this breakdown of what is in the signed bill about what the retiree's are going to get...if anything?? Normally we would get what the active duty members get, but it was not mentioned.

Yes I am, CWO3 Dennis M.. Nope, neither did. My youngest was going to go EOD but a recruiter didn't reserve his NAVSCOLEOD slot so he got screwed. He is an Air Force AMMO troop instead, and is quite happy. My oldest wanted to be high speed so he joined the Army and is an infantry man. He isn't as happy but still wants to go to Ranger school, so we'll see.
