Top DOJ official demoted amid probe of contacts with Trump dossier firm

Deep stater still in place. If he is culpable, fire him or give him a demotion and basement office until he leaves.

In general terms, a meeting by itself isn't necessarily proof of anything other than the fact that the people involved actually met, though that fact by itself can be significant when the people involved deny the meeting took place. But as part of a much larger pattern, I'm inclined to say fire them all. Anyone who took secretive meetings with questionable sources, anyone with questionable roles in hiding things from public view, anyone who made questionable decision during investigations, fire them and let them re-apply for the job if they want.

If I were in Trump's position, I would direct the Secretaries of State and Justice to cancel all leave and bring everyone back into the building. Then give the agencies until midnight Saturday night to provide Congress with ALL the documents and materials it has requested. If it doesn't happen, then people start losing their jobs. Get rid of a couple upper-level managers, then tell their replacements they have 24 hours to get it done. If they can't get it done, fire them and keep moving. Eventually people are going to get the hint. And once Congress gets the materials they requested/subpoenaed, then the same drill for fulfilling FOIA requests/subpoenas.

And the can of worms just got bigger.

Seems every day we get another nail in the HRC / DOJ/ DNC / FBI Collusion and corruption coffin.
