The Last Thing America Needs Is Trump Armed with His Own Private CIA

He needs to use what the taxpayers pay for to provide as security.

A good portion of the intelligence community is already outsourced or contracted. As well the CIA encourages this approach by seeding businesses via In-Q-Tel. As I see it this is a growing trend that correlates to overseas contractors. Why do something when others can do better or worse while mitigating risks. The fact that much of this privatized work is top secret and thus undermines the accountability and transparency of spy agencies is false. Just look at the Flynn investigation. CIA linked dossier, FBI leaked memos, Flynn's name being unmasked by NSA and then leaked as well.

However problematic I don't support the idea for a couple of reasons - one is money. This isn't going to be free and as from the first article attached "intelligence" has become a cash cow. More importantly this only circumvents the unreliability problems within our government ran intelligence agencies. Leaks need to addressed. While I understand both Snowden and Reality Winner were contractors - checks need to be in place, managed and enforced.
