Justin I was never good with an Aimpoint, I used on mine an ACOG. The good thing is I did not get rid of my iron sites. Many guys love great with the Aimpoint

PFC (Join to see) - Justin true ref the EO Tech, pretty rare to see a team going out to bad guy land that some percentage of the team did not have it on the weapons.

LTC Jeff Shearer I'm thinking about getting me an ACOG scope I borrowed my battle buddies weapon during qualifications and he had a ACOG found it very interesting to use I still equaled but didn't do great but I kinda like the ACOG scope from my experience with it.

Justin the big thing is spend a day on the range before you qualify with it. Zero with it, nice and slow, make it tight as hell. then practice hitting targets at different ranges making sure to use all of your shooting fundamentals. Then just like with the iron sites when comfortable pick the pace and engage multiple etc... I would also try and get someone to watch you when you shoot, i.e. someone to act as a coach, let you know it they see you doing something that you may not realize you are doing. After you qualify, and you will, do some up drills with a clear weapon. Use close targets, I would go about 15 - 25 yards I focused on my front site post for target acquisition. It is very enlightening, but it is even more fun. keep me informed on how it goes

PFC (Join to see) Used M68 with AF, used ACOG &Aimpoint PRO on personal Rifle. Got rid of ACOG and kept AimPoint PRO. Two eye shooting and quick acquisition on the AimPoint is what made me prefer and stick with it. Unless your purpose is 150m plus, AimPoint is great. We used to qualify with AimPoint on the 300 meter simulation targets, it can be done, if your zero and fundamentals on good. Just my 2 cents.

MSgt C Madd I haven't hit the 30p yet but that's probably because I haven't shot as much yet.
