NBC execs under fire for silence on Lauer; could they be fired for protecting pervy anchor?

They should be fired, they allowed it to happen. This occurs a lot in the military but then again we at least claim to be a values based organization.

These events will continue to evolve for at least a year. There will regularly be new accusations.

I once said I found it interesting on how corrupt our law makers in DC where, I personally find it disgusting and disturbing on the possible moral corruption in the media (if true). The more information that comes out about this, the more bothersome it gets. It makes one wonder how deep it goes and where did the media go so wrong.... It was their responsibility to talk about events not be the center of the news.

I think someone put it best when they stated how the media has become Hollywood for ugly people, they have become "rock stars" instead of reporters.
