Major Conway, I lost four on my MITT tour in 07-08. For me time hasn’t dulled the sting of those losses. Sometimes I feel like their loss was for nothing. Then I remember that they were doing what the wanted for their own reasons. I good friend of mine told me the best way to remember these brave men and women was to live a full life and not waste any time we have left. And to also help our fellow vets anyway we can.

MSG Jay Jackson - Jay, sorry your MITT team lost people. I went to about 4 or 5 ramp ceremonies in Iraq in 2005 while at FOB Warrior in OIF 3 and 4. Here in Canada, Remembrance Day is a big deal here. I think of my 1SG and my Wife`s Great Grandfather who was killed in WW1. He was Canada`s number 2 sniper in WW1. This is Auntie Marilyn Buffalo discussing her Grandfather Cpl Henry Norwest.
