Stay safe out there when confronting these posers.
On the bright side the Service member will survive and the poser is going to jail, but that's one hell of a way to catch a faker, and not the recommended way.

I really dislike posers. I don't think that Congress should never have changed the SV law. Anybody that poses as a military member or veteran should be charged with a crime.

I am in no way blaming the SM, but some of these SV cases seem to be nothing and I hope that if anyone thinks of confronting someone that they take caution. Glad the SM wasn't too badly hurt.
