yet dickheadinadinnerjacket from Iran and others don't believe the horrors of Dachau. Eisenhower was right to take pictures and videos of what they ran into as Germany fell

I first saw these sort of pictures in early 60's at around age 5-6. It was a Sunday evening youth meeting at church. They alternated parents serving fun food that kids liked i.e. chili dogs, pizza, burgers etc. and then had some fun activities after. This night they set up a projector and showed us some movie clips. I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing. Bald people that were skin and bones dumping wheelbarrow loads of corpses into a pit, or sliding them down chutes at the camps. It made a lasting impression that I remember vividly to this day. I didn't understand what it was about until years later, but never forgot the images. Thanks for sharing.

I saw the French film Night and Fog as a child. It has stayed with me as well.

SGT (Join to see) - These were just B & W films but they stayed with me for life. The adults didn't explain much, so we didn't understand at all. Nowadays parents would probably sue someone over it.

Thankful that these generals had the foresight to have these pictures taken and forced the populace to see what had been going on in their backyards. Still amazes me that in 2017 we still have people denying the holocaust.
