Good article. Agree completely. Perfect practice makes perfect. Try to find a simulated interviewer with strong private sector experience.

How many actually DO practice their interview? This is excellent advice, and can't help but improve one's chances.

I am a recruiter and sit on one side of the interview table everyday...when I go for promotions or interviews, I still practice interview skills. What you have done in your career is great, but you only get that 30-60 minutes to show it off. That time is valuable and preparation is key to vocalize your experience. Hope that helps!

It should help someone who is in the job search mode. When I retired in 2002,for the third time, I retired for good. I am not job hunting. I do not plan to be looking for a job anytime soon, or in the future. And I am quite secure in that belief.
