No different from the homeless situation in Hawaii, which goes unnoticed. There will always be the haves and the have nots. The destitute homeless seldom vote.

Sgt Wayne Wood It is, without a doubt, a problem. I do not pretend to know the answer, but I do know that socialism wont fix it, nor will hand outs.

Very true. In Silicon Valley, it is hard to get a hotel room during the week because so many tech workers can't afford to buy a house near where they work, so they stay in hotels and go home after work on Friday.
