Very interesting a Col. sentencing a Gen. to confinement. I had always thought that a sentencing officer needed to be senior to the officer sentenced. Guess I was wrong on that. Good info.

I don’t see how invoking privilege can only be done by a judge, as that is a right of the accused; this doesn’t fall under the state secrets privilege or related privileges, does it?
