So much of the knowledge attributed to Islamic scholars has been found to be translations of Greek, Persian, & Indian predecessors.
Easy to understand the confusion. The fact DOES remain that much of our knowledge is due to the preservation of those earlier works by Islamic scholars.

Sgt Wayne Wood - Agreed. Their work kept math and science alive during the dark ages. We use Arabic numerals to this day and 2/3 of named stars have Arabic names.

My black female high school math teacher would beg to disagree. She used to slap me upside the head, and ask me how I could be so stupid and not see the 35 sided polyhedron expressed by the equation that took up the board! She was a great teacher!
