McCain is angry and bitter that he never made it to the big chair. He played the game for decades in the Senate, made his run and lost to a neophyte like Obama. He was as bad a presidential candidate as he is a Senator. We all have better visibility into that now.

He is angry because Trump jumped the line and ran over his establishment all the way to the white house. Set aside your dislike of Trump for a moment Ray and understand this is what the McCain saga is all about. Trump pulls no punches and goes after the GOP establishment almost as hard as the democrats.

McCain does not like his infamy being revealed so he takes his snips back in the form of voting against an Obamacare repeal, something he said he was for, voted for it many times and vowed to do so in the future. When the chips are down, he folds like the pleats in a cheap suit out of bitterness and pettiness. He has been revealed as a small man with no understanding of what has happened around him. He is only concerned that the system he spent his life trying to master has been broad sided and he has been a casualty in the broad side.

PO2 Rev. Frederick C. Mullis, AFI, CFM Funny, I heard a very similar story from a Veteran Naval pilot that also served with McCain.

Looking past the superficial could have avoided much of the building disasters we are contending with. Cpl Jeff N. I have learned to look past the obvious and take in the big picture. Thumbs up for your leadership stand on the issue. It truly is lonely at the top when one stands for what one believes.

Bravo for Mr. McCain. The People's representative from Arizona with the worst VA facility in the nation for Veterans. His priorities are rock solid!

Yes the epicenter of the VA nightmare started at the Phoenix VAMC and Juan "Songbird" McCain is the Sr. Senator for my home state of AZ. Years ago when I was having some trouble with my education benefits I asked for his help and his question to me was "Sir you did a job, you got paid for it, what more do you want?" From that day forward I knew he was going to completely USELESS for Veterans.

I wonder if he went to the VA for his last procedure? I wonder if he ever goes there. When the crap hit the fan at the Phoenix VA, how visible was he? I mean, these were veterans in his state, not some distant realm out of his sphere of influence.

Cpl Jeff N. - I seriously doubt it. If so he would have been found in a corner of the hospital somewhere still on a gurney.

Have you got a cartoon of him disobeying Navy Regulations and Flight Rules prior to having his ass blown out of the air by a NVA SAM? If he had followed standing orders he may have never been hit by that flying telephone pole. Like I said I served with him. I know what kind of a scum bag he is.
