Yes, I disagree with Nazi hypocrites as well as extreme left way left like communism. But what is the movement that's been happening in Canada the US were every kid gets a trophy and where you can't fail a student because it's going to cause traumatic damage to the kid and
too much drama? What kind of BS system is this? I got 3rd place in a soapbox Derby trophy when I was in Cub Scouts and I got most improved and cross country and High School Ann and community college. Why should everybody have a trophy? I don't know if its the way people are broth now so I'm asking you and if you don't know please have somebody answer here on Raleigh point what is this kind of movement called? It has to have been caused by some kind of social worker movement or thesis? My mother was a social worker and she worked for the United Way. I have respect for them but my mother when she did social work believed and giving trophies only to the best people and not to everybody like some people are pushing today.

LTC (Join to see) - I really don't know where participation trophies come from. But it's not 20-30 year olds that bought them for themselves when they were 8 years old. The folks who are now 50-60 are the ones who brought about the everyone wins mentality, and were the coaches of the teams that encouraged it. I'm not really sure anyone knows where it started but it's the older generations fault for introducing it and it's my generations fault for perpetuating it.

MSG Joseph Cristofaro - I know when the millenials were born. But I also know that I wasn't in the position to buy my own trophy at 8 years old, that was my point... our parents... your generation bought them for us and told us that we were special. We're equally complicit though as now that we have reached adulthood a disappointing number of us still act like entitled brats. Also I made no assumptions i was simply responding to the assumptions made by the Major, that the administrators had to have been extreme left leaning. There was no evidence to that claim in the article at all. And since, like you said, it's entirely possible to be educated and be conservative, there's no basis for that assumption.
