Wow MSG (Join to see). It is amazing to me that former 12th Air Force command Chief Master Sgt. Jose A. Barraza pleaded guilty to 17 Uniform Code of Military Justice charges, including two sexual misconduct charges and he was only sentenced to 10 months' confinement, reduction in rank to E-4 and a reprimand, according to a release from Air Combat Command.

So LTC Stephen F. I outrank him because I got my E4 before him. Yes, 10 months is too light of a sentence. I hope he loses all benefits, too.

MSG (Join to see) "reduction in rank to E-4 and a reprimand "
I think all too often, a jury or judge that is or are military peers view " reduction in rank to E-4 and a reprimand," as a severe punishment in of itself and thus jail confinement is ordered.
I disagree... Jail time should be what it is, the punishment, the rest just go with the action over all. Jail time SHOULD almost always go with reduction in rank to lowest level and loss of benefits.

In the civilian world, he'd be looking at 10-30 yrs. at the least.
