I know this will be a good plan just by reading the comments from the two experts below.

My wife has a genetic disorder called EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome). In 2016, we spent almost $15,000 for just the premiums. We then spent another $12,000 in deductibles. This year, it would have almost doubled under ObummerCare. Do you have an extra $50,000+/year to take care of your wife? Because of the state of single payer insurance I was left with no choice but to take a "cut in pay" and become a full time employee. It is still costing us over $10,000 this year - on a group plan!
My planned retirement is in another year or two. At that point, I will have to go back to the single-payer model. This EO now gives us some options. I am looking forward to more EOs along the same lines. Since most of ObummerCare was penned in by the executive branch, much of it can be gutted by the current executive branch. The law part of it will take longer.
All I can say is by the government stepping in it has given the insurance companies a virtual monopoly on health care. What a joke!
