Just because he spews his opinion doesn't make it so, or speaks for all veterans. I know someone who died in Vietnam as did he and wouldn't agree and my brother who died of agent orange would not agree. My dad was 22 year Navy vet, an uncle 26 years Navy and an uncle 30 years Navy wouldn't agree. I could go on with 18 more family vet's who had different views than yourself. I didn't agree the first time you posted this, you should check out the post from today of the former Navy seals commander, he seriously disagrees with you and this guy. I wish you well Chip.

Too bad your losing the argument....eh? <he, he, he>
You know what is the most amazing thing about this whole controversy. It is the same underlying "symbol" argument that makes worship of the Confederate Flag wrong.....it's a negative symbol. This is the exact same argument but for a positive symbol like the National Anthem and the Flag, you shouldn't disrespect it just because you know it will pizz a great many people off. I find it amazing that Liberals understand one argument but not the other...........the arguments are pretty similar. I have no idea how you can see the point of view of the Confederate Flag argument yet totally miss on this argument.

@PO1 WIlliam "Chip" Nagel His not finding a team has more to do with his play than it does his protest. His protest just makes it so a team that is borderline, thinks twice. These idiots in the media are missing the bigger picture. These people are protesting disparity in America while making millions of dollars for playing a child's game. There are exceptions, but in general they aren't going to protests during their off time, they aren't working in inner city schools, even in the NFL play 60 commercials they are in suburban neighborhoods with middle class people. How many of these guys taking a knee were out during the last off season protesting. The kneeling down is a protest that requires the least amount of actually trying to make things better possible. As for Chris Rock saying no white man would change places with him, bullshit. Football players need to stick to playing football.
