PFC (Join to see) - Cuban Secret Service keeps the president of Venezuela alive because he can't trust his people because many of them don't like the country turning into a Cuban style dictatorship. Cuba is not our friend either though President Obama sucked up to them and yet they didn't turn over the hijackers that are still living in the lap of luxury in Cuba. Remember, one of those black panther type female Killers escape from jail and is living in Cuba and Kaepernick donated $100,000 to her so-called charity. A friend of mine who used to work as a foreign area officer said that Vietnam turned over people we wanted as part of reestablishing relations but President Obama was so desperate that he didn't push that issue and we have relations with Cuba even though they are just as untrustworthy as the Russians, the Iranians or the North Koreans.

LTC (Join to see) - true but for Cuba I know fora fact that Obama knew Cuba wasn't a friendly ideal power but we needed to extend an olive branch because what we were all trying to do around the world was establish an example of trust and tolerance it's not perfect solution but it really do positively inspire many of our already allies that the United States is committed to trying to move th world foward where yes we may not always agree on everything and have major differences in viewpoint on the world but the United States respects your place in it that's the message the United States has been sending for decades since the Reagan administration and all other presidents followed suit because sure it didn't happen quick but it eventually worked.

PFC (Join to see) - the Olive Branch doesn't appear to be working with Cuba since we don't know if it's the Russians or some elements within the Cuban government are doing the sonic terrorism in the US Embassy there in Havana so people are having permanent hearing loss and headaches. The story is still unfolding but it's sad that the hijackers and that female cop killer that Kaepernick is supporting wasn't had it over as part of the opening of relations between Cuba and the US. Cuba may still be supporting Venezuela and for all we know Nicaragua may be part of that same axis of Evil. I post on rallypoint and year-and-a-half ago that Nicaragua bought a whole bunch of t-72 Tanks and Costa Rica was worried but Honduras was not. This is besides the point but it just goes to show you don't know if Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Iran and North Korea could possibly work together because they are against the United States and it's democracy. I know that the us-supported samosa and many other dictatorships over the decades but this is not the 1930s and that went away in the 1970s. Hopefully the Pax Americana can be restored if we can just get rid of the drug problem if we legalize drugs I don't think it's going to work. Anyways time will tell with the North Korea issue. I just hope that the president's meeting that he had a few days ago isn't the meeting where they discuss actual actions in the next few weeks.

LTC (Join to see) - without a doubt the concerns are valid but it was an important initiative we needed at least from our end we did extend that olive branch and honestly put pur best effort foward to normalize relations NIW the ball was in Cuba's court to see what they will do with that new found relationship so if it goes bad it's not on us because we at least put our best foot foward.

PFC (Join to see) - Enough is untrue that the rest is suspect. I think much of his "access is" pulled out of his A**.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - I don't know about that but I reserve judgement but China does have views of world domination that is kinda in the realm of the eccentric. Mostly through practically economic blackmail especially in Africa.

PFC (Join to see) - Wht major power does not haves on world domination China is just the latest addition to the "Great Game" Player come and go but the game remains

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - well they have no regard for anyone else sovereign territory and Vietnam grievances are clear in that regard that's why Vietnam has strengthened ties to us. The Philippines already has distanced themselves from China because they realize what it takes to be in business with them and it did not turn out good.

Yeah kinda my feeling as well more of an eye roll for me really.
