17th and 31st Infantry along with other elements of 7th Inanftry Division roaming around the trans siberian railway with Japanese, White Russians, Bolsheviks, and even an Austro-Hungarian Amy of Czechs who had deserted and made their way halfway around the world. How great is that!

I used to have a book on the Czech's roaming across Russia and another on the landings at Archangel and Vladivostok. The 7th Infantry Div seemed to pull that duty regularly in the Second World War they liberated Attu and Kiska. I was with them in Korea in the 60s
