I heard about this new study on the radio yesterday. Interestingly it was done by someone who believed gun control was the answer. Read it and see what you think. Our Laws certainly have not helped our drug problems.... For the record, I am not a huge a gun nut, but I do believe in everyone's right to own them.

Yes, we can tighten and restrict lawful gun purchases and use to a greater and greater extent, and only law-abiding citizens will abide by them. Laws can never make a bad man be a good man. Anyone willing to commit murder isn't bothered in the slightest by committing the lesser crimes related to acquiring a gun illegally.

This little piece of simple logic is what the gun control lobby just can't seem to grasp. If I am willing to kill people, how will a regulation on how I purchase the gun prevent anything?
