I was pleased that the real political aspects of this era was highlighted, but fell short in identifying VC atrocities against our military and the Vietnamese, in general. Also, our generation of heroes were dismissed as war criminals by many now in power. Ken Burns lost a lot of respect from me.

It's PBS! You know its gonna be slanted to the left, and a lot will be left out. I did not even bother to watch it.

There was actually some good stuff, you just have to get by the bias exhibited by Ken Burns regarding the Vietnam "conflict".

I chose not to watch, I was there and I lived through it on the DMZ during TET 1968. I was not interested in someone's perspective who did not serve and was not there. Been there, done that and not interested in going back. I quit watching television and movies a few years back as they all tend to have a leftward political slant and are more propaganda than history. I prefer to read history written by those who were there than to watch some Hollywood version.
