As someone who really, really wishes I'd stayed in and done 30, I simply cannot fathom how all these Master Chiefs are making such poor decisions. I mean, I'm just an arm-chair admiral, but I like to think if I'd made E-9 I wouldn't do some of the stupid shit that's been coming down the pike recently.
