We Americans all have the right to voice our opinions. As a Soldier and an American, I don't agree with what the NFL is doing, but I respect their right to do as they see fit. I also believe, they will regret this, as professional sports are about money; as much money as you can make and more is better. They won't get my money.

I concur with your assessment COL Charles Williams I have no intention of purchasing or recommending anybody else purchasing anything endorsed, sponsored or affiliated with the NFL, Pittsburg Steelers, Dallas Cowboys, etc.
Yes as a Soldier I put my life on the line for those agreed with me and those who didn't. That does not mean I support highly-paid sports-stars who have been role models who decide to avoid the national Anthem or take a knee when it is played. Shame on those who do.

Canadian Super Bowl alternative is the Grey Cup. Find out if it's listed on your cable channel. You may have to pay extra for it but it's a small price to pay to screw over the NFL.

Grey Cup is always a good football game. We watch it with the Winter Texas in the RGV from Canada.

Do you know Morris if it is offered on most major cable channels? I have Shaw Cable in Canada and we get Fox News and many American stations but I moved away from the USA in 2000 six and I never was really a football fan except for the Super Bowl which was always on a major Network. Just so others would know, do you know? Others here can help me out. I know we can always watch it on YouTube but it isn't the same thing if you can't watch it live. I recall when I was at Fort Lewis Washington recovering from a broken ankle that the bus driver told me how grateful he was for the CFL when the NFL was on strike. I'm thinking that this would be a good alternative so those who love football can still watch it instead of going cold turkey by watching the CFL instead.

Hockey is also another great alternative. Not likely going to see that bit of nonsense at one of those games.
