One day people as a whole and not case by case individuals will start trusting science again.

I've never stopped trusting science, true science. However, this ideological crap has nothing to do with science and all to do with controlling people's behavior.

CPT Jack Durish - That's funny. Last I check, scientific discovery always begins with ideological curiosity and sometimes crap. Scientists don't use information to control people, politicians and special interest groups use information to control people.

MAJ James Woods - Wow! That is the most anti-scientific explanation I've ever encountered. All I can say is WOW!

CPT Jack Durish - Anti-scientific? Perhaps your definition of 'ideological' is more philosophical than scientific. That could explain some things.

SSG (Join to see) Neil deGrasse Tyson is right Unfortunately there is a Significant Portion of the US Populace that would rather Accept the Lies of 3 Percent of the Professionals in the Field Paid by the Oil/Gas and Coal Industries.

The 97% study by Cook is flawed. It isn't very well constructed and the conclusions are wrong. http://www.nationalreview.com/article/427055/great-climate-lie-josh-gelernter

Tyson is a very intelligent man and an excellent spokesman. Sadly, he has been duped into believing that his very special knowledge of astrophysics makes him an expert in climate. The simple truth is that there are far fewer climatologists than astrophysicists. (It's all about supply and demand) Tyson should find a climatologist and learn about the subject before using his fame to spread ideological propaganda. Also, my fears for your children have nothing to do with the effects of climate change.

Personally, I think climate change is a beard for anti-corporation crowd. It sounds great until they are faced with the woes and toil of pre-industrial life.
