What does China mean when they say that it's up to US to resolve this matter? Are they inviting armed response? Somehow I doubt it

CPT Jack Durish - that's the way it works in my universe as well. so, hypothetical "shot across the bow"... target two cruise missiles at those huge megalomaniacal statues in Pyongyang. practice rounds not hot shots... just to show that we can hit more than just the planet.

Sgt Wayne Wood - My vote is on simply assassinating the SOB. Shouldn't be too hard. He's a large enough target. It would take a decade or two for the hierarchy to sort itself out

CPT Jack Durish - my guess would be he does the "target shuffle"... never announces appearances beforehand, never sleeps in the same place, a phalanx of bodyguards, maybe look-alikes a la Saddam Hussein

Weren't new sanctions just placed on noko? It seems to me that the red-line goal posts are still moving. That fat little piece of shit needs to be removed from power with extreme prejudice.

New sanctions were put on but, I believe it was State, that watered them down from what Trump wanted. Seems State thought Russia and China would vote against them. Even if they voted for sanctions, they would cheat anyway. So what was the purpose?

SFC William H. - State agreed to watered down sanctions presented by China... as a permanent member of the Security Council China can veto any sanctions it doesn't like. the only other option is to proceed uni-laterally.

Hard enough to deal with a rational leader who is hell bent on aggression, i.e. Iran. All but impossible to deal with one who appears to be totally unhinged. After all how do you deal with a person who thinks they are deity?
The Chinese will only act in their own interests, we can only expect them to be at best a neutral party, at worst, an opponent. Russia will, if anything, take a provocateur's role. The UN will once again prove itself useless.
