SSgt Ryan Sylvester - True lol. Although I never did that when I played Sims. I've seen stories about the horribly disturbing things people did to their Sims. One person said they made like a troll Sim that liked art and they would just keep it in the basement making paintings and selling them but the people in the house never knew. A bunch of crazy things. I never got all crazy with them when I played that.

Cpl Lawrence Lavictoire - No Rallypoint is not a Christian discussion site or blog. I think you are confused. I'm sure the admins can correct you. Just because there are some Christians on here doesn't make it a Christian site. When someone tags something that's just so that people can find it if they look in a certain discussion topic. I can't believe you don't know that.

Do you read the posts on here because very few are about religion. They are majority about military topics.

Who are you to tell me to leave? No one. This is NOT a Christianity site. THIS particular THREAD is about religion. Not the ENTIRE SITE. LOL!! You're funny. Really. The only one with blinders on is you. Take them off and you'll see a whole new world.

Oh don't pray for me. Prayers are useless - as evidenced by the recent natural disasters. It's funny Christians think that they can use prayer to change "god's will." Like a deity is really going to listen to some pansy mortals.

Thanks for the down vote too!

So I take it all you have to add to the discussion is insults, there, Lawrence. That's cool. Have fun in your little safe space. I'm really only interested in intelligent discussions and debates.

The link mentions a single psychiatric study from 2004, and then cherry-picks six words from that study in an attempt to attribute the underlying motive for the suicides. Motives for suicide vary, and in many cases we never find out the true, underlying motive. In addition, I don't think pointing out the flaws or sins of others is what we should be doing as Christians, and I don't think it helps preserve a brotherhood among us veterans.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Thanks Capt Gregory Prickett . I don't have a perfect answer. It's always a fine line to distinguish between a discussion of a topic and an attack on a belief system, but I was hoping to slow down attacks on belief systems. We hold them close, and therefore attacks on them lead to more emotional responses. We should all be able to have discussions on ANY topic, as long as it's a two-way respectful discussion. One thing I truly value here on RP is that we include our names, and the accounts are verified. This forces us all to "own" our statements and recognize those we interact with as fellow humans and veterans.

I am sorry if I offended anyone with my comment. That was not my intent. Just a observation on my part. I could care less if your a Christian or a atheist or agnostic.

first of all I see no one attacking your believe system. And you can say anything you would like to say about Christians . And I have heard Atheist talk bad of Christians.AS of how can someone be so stupid as to believe in something that can't be seen. the difference is I don't wear my feeling on my sleeve. So if you are overly sensitive maybe you need to get over it and take the comment with a grain of salt who knows it may make you a happier person.
(may the force be with you)
