PO3 Jacob Jenkins What is most impressive about this is that Air Plane tickets do not qualify under the price gouging law. So the airlines can (and some have) jack the prices for a ticket sky high (excuse my pun) and there is nothing legally wrong with it. If Jet Blue flew to any destination that I actually travel things like this would be reasons I would at least give them a try.

PO3 Steven Sherrill that's exactly right! It's crazy but I'm watching hotel prices in Georgia steady climb as the storm gets closer and closer and it sickens me that companies will do this to people in a time where they need help! I urge anyone that is in Florida or Texas to also beware of the construction contractors that will get you to sign your insurance claim to them do a half ass job and then leave. It happened in Katrina, our church spent most of our time rebuilding the work that a contractor do on an entire neighborhood because he didn't treat, support, etc.. correctly. Two things happen in times like these, people reach out and help however they can or people take advantage of those in need. Sad but true!

PO3 Jacob Jenkins - Indeed. Disaster is funny creature. It brings out both the absolute best and the absolute worst in humanity. People giving the shirt off their back to help their fellow man, and people looting and robbing.

That is really nice of them, since a lot of the people will probably be losing everything to Hurricane Irma.
