US Army Africa commander suspended amid investigation into texts

After reading further I see he had her phone number and she was talking to him; however, based on the little information provided it doesn't seem like she was looking for anything more than friendship. To me it seems he ran into this woman in the gym. She obviously gave him her phone number. Yes she should have shut it down as soon as he sent the messages he did hitting on her but some people aren't confrontational. The fact is that it doesn't seem she reciprocated his intentions especially if she forwarded his messages to some advocacy group. I know some comments on another page were saying she was just as responsible but I don't see that based on the information so far. HE definitely knew better than to message anyone else's spouse like this.
