It sounds like they have a plan or multiple plans/prongs they have been working on. No one wants the armed conflict but a nuclear NK, as many administrations have said, is unacceptable. Left unstopped, he would build multiple weapons and then at some point, to prove how great he is (in his twisted mind) he would launch on a city. Which one are we prepared to lose? Seoul, Tokyo, most of Guam. Okinawa or how about LA or Seattle or Dallas or NYC?
We have dilly dallied with the NK regimes for too many years and have talked, talked, talked and negotiated and allowed them to advance their technology under our very watchful eye and have done nothing. I am afraid the time for doing nothing is sun setting.
