Mary the cool part of that is not that he used Hitlers stationery, but he was an uninvited guest at one of Hitler's love shacks and used his stationery. To make even better is he was Jewish. I love it.

It made for a great military story that I'm sure no doubt will live in his families history for a long time

Certainly not cartwheels of joy but in absolute and deserved FRUSTRATION! I think penning a letter to old Adolf himself about how much fun he was having in his place would be poetic justice. Perhaps it might start out:
"Dear Adolf,
You @#$@#$~! You are a dead coward and I am enjoying you flat. The paper I am writing on is of good quality, unlike you soul! By the way, I am Jewish you @#@#@@$, and frankly I am having the very last - laugh you #$@#@#$.
In any event, ......
Sincerely,
A Son of the Star of David"
Now that would have also made great reading!
Yes Karma is bitch!

In a way its a case of a person being in the right place at the right time.
The irony of it though is perfect.
